Age Determination Date is July 9, 2008
The Junior Boys State Championship is an invitational for boys in the 13-18 divisions. The field will be limited to 60 boys. Age of participants will not be considered in naming a champion. Approximately 50 boys will be invited based on the criteria listed below
*2007 Boys State Championship - low 15 scores & ties
*2008 Thunderbird Invitational - (15-18) 10 low scores & ties, (13-14) 5 low scores & ties
*2008 Willie Low Invitational - Champions (15-18) & (13-14)
*2008 Antigua/ Milt Coggins - (Champ) 15 low scores & ties, (13-14, 15-18 Reg) 8 low scores & Ties
*2008 Junior World qualifiers
A one day qualifying round will be held to determine the remainder of the field. The Qualifier will be held at Superstition Mountain Golf Course on June 27, 2008. To be eligible to play in the qualifier, you must have played in at least three (3) previous 2008 JGAA events and be a current JGAA member in good standings.
*Range balls will be provided
* Practice Rounds will be available on Monday July 7th after 1:00 pm on either course. Please call Forest Highlands for a practice round. The price is $50 and is for walking only. Please play only one ball during the practice round
