The Junior Boys State Championship is an invitational for boys in the 13-18 divisions. The field will be limited to 60 boys. Age of participants will not be considered in naming a champion. Approximately 50 boys will be invited based on the criteria listed on the following page. This is a spectator event.
- 2006 Boys State Championship - 15 low scores & ties
- 2007 Junior World Qualifiers
- 2007 Thunderbird Invitational - (15-18) 10 low scores & ties, (13-14) 5 low scores & ties
- 2007 Antigua/Milt-Coggins (Champ) - 15 low scores & ties, (15-18 Regular) 8 low scores & ties and (13-14) 8 low scores & ties.
- 2007 Willie Low Champions - (15-18) & (13-14)
A one day qualifying round will be held to determine the remainder of the field. The Qualifier will be held at Hillcrest GC on July 5, 2007. To be eligible to play in the STATE event, you must have played in at least three (3) previous 2007 JGAA events and be a current JGAA member in good standings.
- Range balls will be provided
PRACTICE ROUND:
- Practice rounds for the Boys State Championship can be scheduled the week of June 25-28 after 1pm and you need to contact Forest Highlands to reserve a tee time.
Cost will be $50 per player.
THIS IS A SPECTATOR EVENT:
- Please refer to the JGAA Policies for spectator guidelines.
AJGA TOURNAMENT EXEMPTION EVENT:
- Champion - 3 Tournament Exemptions
- Top 5 Finishers - 2 Tournament Exemptions
- Top 10 Finishers - 1 Tournament Exemption
